6 hero rolls, sliced length-wise but leaving both sides of the roll attached.
Italian dressing, for serving
1 c banana peppers, sliced
6 slices provolone cheese
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Arrange the rolls into a 9×13-inch baking pan. Make sure to leave a small space between each roll.
Place the rolls inside the preheated oven and bake for about 5 minutes or until done.
Remove the rolls from the oven.
Add 3 folded capicola slices to the bottom of every roll.
Distribute evenly the banana pepper slices among the prepared sandwiches.
Break the provolone cheese, then put them over the banana pepper slices.
Put them back inside the oven and bake for another 20 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm with Italian dressing. Enjoy!
