These stuffed shells are simply the best! You will surely love everything about this delicious dish! Aside from the flavours, it is also very easy to cook! In just about 45 minutes, you will have the best lunch or dinner ever!
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
15 ounces can crushed tomatoes
15 ounces can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
20 large shells
15 ounces ricotta cheese
1 Egg
4 ounces shredded Parmesan
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
2 c mozzarella cheese
Directions:
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the ground beef and cook until crumbly and brown. Discard any excess grease.
Add the garlic powder and onion powder. Stir until well combined.
Add the crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Stir until well mixed. Simmer for a few minutes.
Refer to the directions provided on the package of the noodles on how to cook them. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
Add egg, Parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
Spread a bit of the meat sauce on the bottom of a large casserole dish.
Fill each cooked noodle with the cheese mixture and spread it evenly.
Repeat the process to the rest of the noodles and cheese mixture.
Arrange the stuffed noodles into the prepared casserole dish.
Spread the rest of the meat sauce on top.
Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Place the stuffed shells inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted completely.
Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
