This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was a little kid. We used to go to the park and guess what our food is? Yes, this Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions! Anyway, I have listed all the ingredients and directions for this recipe so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! As perfect as this recipe already is, feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. If you want a spicy version, just simply add chilli powder. I highly recommend you make this spicy. Ingredients:
Olive oil
1 package of sausage depends on how much you want to make
1 onion chopped in large chunks
2-3 green peppers chopped
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a baking pan.
Wash the peppers with water, then use paper towels to pat them dry.
Slice the washed peppers into strips.
Place a pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the pepper strips and sauté until soft. This usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes.
Add the onion and sauté until translucent.
Remove the sauteed veggies from the pan.
In the same pan, add the sausage and cook until brown.
Transfer the sausage into the prepared baking pan.
Add the sauteed veggies into the same pan with the sausage. Stir everything until well combined.
Place the pan inside the preheated oven and bake everything for about 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy! about 10 minutes.
