Over the years, I sort of mastered this Italian Compound Butter recipe! I don’t mean to brag, but it’s for you to find out! I have listed all the ingredients and directions for this recipe so all you need to do is to follow them step by step, and you are good to go! I highly suggest serving this over a slice of French roll or baguette. Do it and thank me later! I know you probably heard of this one, but I assure you that this is the best of the best! Ingredients:
½ tbsp garlic, minced
baguette or French roll
1 c (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
2 tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes, drained and finely chopped
Directions:
In the bowl of a stand mixer, add butter and beat a few times until smooth.
Add the garlic, basil, and tomatoes. Beat again until well incorporated.
Add salt and beat until well blended. Taste and add more if needed.
Pour the mixture into an airtight container or mason jar.
You can serve it with a French roll or a slice of baguette. Enjoy!
Notes:
Place any leftovers in the fridge. Only take it out when using it.
