These ribs are so good that you will crave them all the time! Juicy and tender ribs smothered in a delicious barbecue sauce. What’s not to like? Ingredients:
2 tablespoons BBQ dry rub
6 c apple juice
3 pounds baby back ribs or pork loin ribs
⅔ c sweet BBQ sauce divided
1 tablespoon seasoning salt (Johnny’s or Lawry’s)
¼ c apple cider vinegar
½ teaspoon liquid smoke optional
Directions:
Use paper towels to pat dry the ribs.
Rub each rib with the dry ingredients. Make sure to coat each well.
Add the liquid smoke, apple juice, ⅓ cup of BBQ sauce, and vinegar. Stir until well mixed.
Arrange the ribs into the slow cooker bone-side up.
Cover the slow cooker and cook the ribs for about 25 minutes.
Do a natural release for about 10 minutes.
Line with wire rack a rimmed baking sheet.
Remove the ribs from the slow cooker onto the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the top of each rib with the rest of the BBQ sauce.
Place them inside the oven and broil for about 5 minutes on a high setting.
Remove the ribs from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
You can grill the ribs if you prefer. Just preheat the grill to 350 degrees F, then put the ribs and grill for about 5 minutes.
