Directions:
1.5 lbs medium shrimp (peeled and deveined)
¼ c honey
⅓ c soy sauce
Juice of 1 lime
3 large garlic cloves (minced)
1 tablespoon butter (you could also use olive oil)
2 c steamed broccoli (I use Publix “steam in bag”)
Directions:
Add soy sauce, honey, garlic, and lime juice into a small mixing bowl. Whisk until well blended.
Reserve about ⅓ cup of the sauce for later use.
In the bowl with the remaining sauce, add the shrimp and toss until well coated. Place the bowl inside the fridge for about 20 minutes to marinate the shrimp.
Steam the vegetables inside the microwave or prepare the rice if you are serving this dish with it.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add butter and allow it to melt.
Add the shrimp and cook each side for about a minute.
Add the steamed veggies and the reserved sauce. Toss until well combined and cook for about 2 minutes.
Serve over rice and enjoy!
Notes:
Squeeze lime juice over each serving.
Feel free to use your preferred veggies for this recipe.
