Ingredients:
2 tbsp oil divided
2 c broccoli
1-lb boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch pieces
4 cloves garlic minced
¼ c low sodium soy sauce
¼ c water
¼ c honey
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp cornstarch
salt and pepper to taste
sesame seeds for garnish if desired
Directions:
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add 1 tbsp of oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the broccoli and sauté for about 5 minutes or until soft.
Remove the broccoli from the skillet onto a clean plate.
In the same skillet, add the rest of the oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the chicken and sear each side until brown.
Add garlic and sauté until aromatic.
In a mixing bowl, add water, soy sauce, sesame oil, and honey. Stir until well mixed.
Pour the sauce into the skillet and stir until well mixed.
Put the broccoli back to the skillet.
Mix cornstarch with water, then pour it into the skillet.
Allow the mixture to become thick.
Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Serve and enjoy!
