This awesome dish is what I call perfection! With this very minimal set of ingredients, you will surely have the best meal today! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! You are more than welcome to add more ingredients if you prefer. Ingredients:
1 garlic clove, minced
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 c low sodium beef broth
1 large yellow onion, chopped
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 8 ounces can tomato sauce
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 c pasta shells (can also use elbow pasta)
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp seasoned salt
2 c shredded cheddar cheese
salt and pepper, to taste
½ c heavy cream
Directions:
Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add the ground beef and cook until brown.
Remove the browned beef from the pan onto a clean plate.
Add the onion into the same pan and sauté until translucent.
Add the garlic and sauté until aromatic.
Add flour, then stir and cook for a minute.
Gradually add the beef broth and stir every addition until well blended, then allow it to boil.
Add the Italian seasoning, tomato sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, pasta, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
Cover the pan with the lid and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the pasta is al dente. Make sure to stir from time to time.
Add the cheese and cream cheese, then stir until well blended.
Put the ground beef back into the pan and stir until well combined. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy!
