I am so psyched to share with you this recipe. This Ham and Egg Sandwich recipe has always been a part of my family since I was little. I remember my grandma used to make this all the time! I would always bring a sandwich to school for a snack. Yes, I know that you probably have a recipe for this but you haven’t had the best until now! I have listed all the things you will be needing so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! You are more than welcome to add more ingredients to this if you wish. I am sure that you are more than skilled to take this very simple recipe to the next level! Have a wonderful day, friends. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
½-pound shaved ham
6 Eggs
1 c mayonnaise
1 loaf thin-cut white sandwich bread
1 teaspoon mustard powder
2 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard (can use any spicy mustard (I like the ones with seeds in them), just add a little mayo to it to soften the flavour)
salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
Directions:
Place a large pot with water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
Add the eggs and cook for about 8 minutes.
Remove the eggs from the hot water, then transfer them into a bowl with ice-cold water.
Peel the cooled eggs, then use a potato mashed to break them.
Add the mashed eggs into a mixing bowl, then add 5 tbsp of mayonnaise, parsley, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
Brush each bread with the egg mixture, then top each with the other halves of bread.
Brush each top of the sandwich with mustard.
Top each with ham slices as well.
Slice into even pieces.
Serve and enjoy!
