Ingredients:
6 cloves (6 cloves) Garlic
1 Red Onion. chopped, rough chopped
1 lb. (0.45 kg) ground pork, or ground lamb
1 lb. (0.45 kg) Lean Ground Beef
2 tsp (2 tsp) dried rosemary
2 tsp (2 tsp) Ground Marjoram
2 tsp (2 tsp) Dried Oregano
2 tsp (2 tsp) Ground Black Pepper
2 tsp (2 tsp) Kosher Salt
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
In a food processor, add the garlic and onions. Pulse until chopped finely.
Add all the seasonings and ground beef into the food processor as well, then pulse until well combined with the rest of the ingredients.
Transfer the meat mixture onto a foil, then spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about an hour or until done.
Remove from the oven and discard the accumulated grease.
Cover with another sheet of foil, then place it onto a flat surface.
Place a cast-iron skillet over the gyro meat, then gently press to flatten it out.
Allow the gyro to sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
Slice into even pieces.
