Everybody deserves to know how awesome these potatoes are. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter
1 ½ c sharp cheddar
3 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon Tastefully Simple’s Garlic
½ c Parmesan
2 c of whole milk
4–5 pounds of Yukon gold potatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Tastefully Simple’s Onion
1 c chicken broth
½ teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons Tastefully Simple’s Rustic Herb
Directions:
Slice each peeled potato into ⅛-inch thin pieces.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add butter and allow it to melt.
Add the flour into the hot pan, then whisk and cook for a few minutes to remove the raw taste of the flour.
Add the rest of the ingredients aside from the cheese into the pan, then whisk until well blended. Simmer the sauce for a few minutes until thick.
Apply cooking spray to a baking dish.
Add ½ of the potatoes into the prepared baking dish and arrange them in a single layer.
Add ½ of the cream cheese sauce over the potatoes. Make sure to coat them well.
Sprinkle 1 cup of the cheddar and Parmesan cheese on top of the potatoes. Repeat the process with the rest of the potatoes, cream cheese sauce, and cheeses until everything is arranged in layers.
Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil.
Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes.
Remove the foil cover, then bake for additional 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy!
