Ingredients:
½ c unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp white pepper
1 (5 to 6 lbs.) beef tenderloin
2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp table salt
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 225 degrees C or 450 degrees F.
Place a large, heavy skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Slice the roast into two if needed. Make sure that the roast will fit in the skillet.
Tie the roast a few times with kitchen twine to keep it intact. Sprinkle white pepper, salt, and black pepper all over the roast. Rub it well until completely coated.
Add the roast into the hot skillet, then sear four sides for 3 minutes or until they turn brown.
Move the roast into a 9×13-inch pan.
Place it in the oven and cook for about 30 minutes or until it reaches about 12 degrees F.
Remove from the oven and cover it with foil. Let it rest for at least 10 minutes at room temperature.
Place a small saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add butter and allow it to melt.
Add the garlic cloves, then cook for a few minutes until they become golden brown. Remove from the heat.
Strain the butter and discard the garlic cloves.
Slice roast into even pieces.
Serve the roast with garlic-infused butter. Enjoy!
Notes:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them in the fridge. They can last up to 5 days. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes when serving again.
