I love this casserole! This is incredibly easy to make and ready in no time. You can also make this in advance and just keep it in the fridge or freeze it for later. I like to split the casserole between two foil pans and freeze the other one for later.
This casserole has been one of my favorites for years! This is made with egg noodles, french onion dip, cream of chicken soup, cheese, and chicken, then topped with French fried onions. This casserole is super easy and quick to throw together. A simple six ingredients recipe that everyone is raving about!

4 c. cooked chopped chicken

HOW TO MAKE FRENCH ONION CHICKEN NOODLE CASSEROLE

Step 3: Mix the chicken with the soup, dip, and cheese. Add the cooked egg noodles and toss well.
Step 4: Into the prepared pan, pour the mixture and sprinkle with the crushed french fried onions.

Notes:
For this recipe, use refrigerated sour cream-based French onion dips like Dean’s, Great Value, Barbers, Heluva Good Dip, or Kraft.
You can make this casserole ahead of time and keep it in the fridge or freeze it for later.
Before baking, thaw in the fridge completely first and bake as directed in the recipe.
Before reheating, thaw the frozen casserole. Tent using aluminum foil and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes until completely heated.
