1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream, room temperature
1 stick butter, room temp

2 cups powdered sugar
¼ cup lemon juice
How to make Famous Pound Cake
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees. And using Baker’s Joy, generously grease a tube bundt pan.
Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the cake ingredients (cake mix, cake flour, sugar, sour cream, butter, eggs, oil, water, vanilla extract, butter flavouring, and almond extract) until smooth, making sure not to over mix.
Step 3: Into the prepared pan, transfer the batter and bake in the preheated oven for about 55 to 65 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean. Take the cake out of the oven when done and let it cool for at least 10 to 15 minutes before inverting to a serving dish.
Step 4: Meanwhile, whisk the powdered sugar and lemon juice until you reach your desired consistency. Note that it is only a glaze so the consistency should be thick like nectar.
Step 5: Over the cake, slowly pour the glaze, spreading it using the back of a spoon to let the glaze soak into the warm cake. Slice and serve warm or room temperature. Enjoy!
