Oh my! This banana bread just became my favourite! I love how the bananas complement well with the rest of the ingredients. Every bite of this superb bread will surely make your day! Give it a try and feel free to add more ingredients if you feel like it. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
½ cup butter, melted
1 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup sour cream
½ cup chopped walnuts
2 medium (7″ to 7-⅞″ long) s medium bananas, sliced
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add the sugar and melted butter. Stir until well mixed.
Step 4: Add one egg at a time and beat every addition.
Step 5: Add the vanilla and stir until well blended.
Step 6: In a small mixing bowl, add the baking soda, flour, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
Step 7: Transfer it into the butter mixture and stir until well blended.
Step 8: Add the walnuts, bananas, and sour cream.
Step 9: Transfer the mixture into the greased loaf pan.
Step 10: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting in the middle of the loaf.
Step 11: Remove from the oven and let the bread sit in the pan for about 10 minutes.
Step 12: Place on a wire rack to cool to room temperature.
Step 13: Serve and enjoy!
