Easy, delicious, and very comforting! This Easy Weeknight Beef Taco Pasta is my ultimate comfort food! Oh, man, you have got to give this recipe a try if you want to taste perfection! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! My only advice to you is to be very generous with the amount of cheese that you are going to add. Yes, just do it and thank me later! Have a great one, friends. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 medium onion, diced
1-pound lean ground beef
1–2 teaspoons taco seasoning (You can always use more if you like!)
5 ounces tomato paste
¾ c chunky salsa
1 c frozen corn
1 c sharp cheddar cheese
14 ounces bow-tie/farfalle pasta
1 c water
Directions:
Place a large pot with salted water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
Add the pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown. Discard any excess grease.
Add the garlic and onions, then sauté until aromatic and soft.
Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until well blended. Allow the mixture to boil.
Reduce the heat to low, then simmer for a few minutes until it reduces its volume.
Add the al dente pasta and toss until well coated by the delicious sauce.
Remove the skillet from the heat, then cover it. Allow the Beef Taco Pasta to rest for at least 5 minutes.
Sprinkle a generous amount of cheddar cheese on top of each serving.
Serve and enjoy!
