These delicious rolls are simply the best! Your house will smell divine after removing these rolls from our oven. One bite will surely bring a smile to your face. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
½ cup milk
½ cup sugar
1 ½ teaspoon salt (can use less)
¼ cup butter, melted
½ cup warm water (105-115 degrees)
2 package Fleischmann’s active dry yeast
2 large eggs, beaten
4 ½ cups all-purpose flour, may need a bit more or less, see directions
Additional butter for coating bowls used and brushing on tops of baked rolls
Directions:
Step 1: Place the saucepan on the stove and add in the milk.
Step 2: Turn the heat to medium and allow the milk to boil. Remove immediately after boiling.
Step 3: Add in the sugar, butter, and salt. Stir until well blended and set aside to cool.
Step 4: In a large mixing bowl, add the yeast and warm water. Stir until yeast is dissolved completely.
Step 5: Transfer the warm milk into the yeast. Stir until well combined.
Step 6: Add in beaten eggs and ½ of the flour. Beat until creamy.
Step 7: Slowly add the rest of the flour and stir continuously. Make sure that the dough is elastic.
Step 8: Sprinkle flour on a flat surface and knead the dough for about 8 minutes or until smooth.
Step 9: Brush melted butter a large mixing bowl and put in the dough. Turn it several times until coated completely with butter.
Step 10: Cover the bowl and place it in a warm area to rise for about 1 hour.
Step 11: Press the dough on a floured surface and shape it to your desired form. I shape mine into small balls.
Step 12: Place the shaped dough into a buttered baking pan or muffin tin. Make sure not to overcrowd.
Step 13: Cover the rolls and place it in a warm area to rise for 1 more hour.
Step 14: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 15: Place the rolls inside the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
Step 16: Remove from the oven and brush each top with melted butter.
Step 17: Let the rolls cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 18: Serve and enjoy!
