Apple pie like you’ve never had before! I love this recipe so much! It is my Grandma’s recipe that I am so glad that she taught me. It’s not difficult at all. This is the easiest recipe for the pie that I have ever tried. Easy and delicious, as simple as that. The ingredients are pretty basic so feel free to add more or your preferred ingredients. Give it your take, I highly encourage you to do so. By the way, Apples have a naturally sweet flavour so make sure to control the sugar that you put in. It might make the pie very sweet. Anyway, I hope you all love this simple recipe. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 ½ pound Granny Smith apples – peeled, cored, and sliced
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup of sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¾ cup melted butter
1 egg
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: In a mixing bowl, add the apples and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Toss until the apples coated, then transfer the mixture into a pie plate.
Step 3: In a small mixing bowl, add the egg, 1 cup of sugar, cinnamon, and butter. Stir until well mixed, then transfer the mixture over the apples.
Step 4: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until the apples are golden brown.
Step 5: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.
Step 6: Serve and enjoy!
