I am addicted to these sausage and cream cheese biscuit bites! It’s so good and super easy to make with sausage, cream cheese, Worcestershire, and cheddar cheese baked in biscuits. I love to serve these bites for breakfast to start my day right. These are also great for parties, even tailgating! The best part is you can make the sausage mixture in advance and store it in the fridge until ready to bake.
My kids are also obsessed with these delicious sausage and cream cheese biscuit bites. I made these bites twice this week and we still cannot get enough of these tasty bites!
To make this recipe, all you need are just five simple ingredients. Feel free to use your favorite sausage. If you want a little kick, a roll of hot sausage is also a great option. I make mine using a regular muffin pan, but you can use a mini muffin pan and adjust the baking time accordingly.
Ingredients
1 (8-ounces) package of cream cheese, softened
1 pound sausage (I used Jimmy Dean brand)
1½ c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 (12-ounces) cans of Grands Jr flaky biscuits (20 biscuits in total)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
HOW TO MAKE SAUSAGE AND CREAM CHEESE BISCUIT BITES
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F. Using cooking spray, lightly grease mini muffin pans, and set aside.
Step 2: In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium-high heat until browned. Then, drain the excess grease.
Step 3: In the skillet with the cooked sausage, add the cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir well.
Step 4: After removing the biscuits from the cans, split each into two. Unto the prepared muffin tin, place each biscuit round. Into the biscuit cups, spoon the sausage mixture.
Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 12 to 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
