These Meatball Subs are so easy to make that you surely serve them pretty much every day! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! You are more than welcome to add more ingredients to this if you wish. Ingredients:
extra virgin olive oil
4 hoagie rolls or hot dog buns if that is what you have
1 c mozzarella or provolone cheese, divided
½ c marinara sauce, divided
16 store-bought frozen meatballs I like Costco’s Italian Beef Meatballs
garlic powder, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes
grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
Refer to the directions provided on the package of the meatballs on how to cook them.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Arrange the hoagie buns onto a sheet pan, then drizzle olive oil on top.
Sprinkle dried basil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and dried oregano on top of the buns.
Bake inside the oven for 5 minutes or until just crispy.
Spread 1 tbsp of marinara sauce to the bottom of every hoagie and sprinkle a generous amount of Parmesan cheese.
Place 4 meatballs and marinara sauce over each hoagie.
Sprinkle more cheese on top.
Bake for another 3 to 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted completely.
Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
