These Easy Meatball Subs are one of my favorite treats to serve! They are packed with incredible flavors that my family just loves! Ready in just 20 minutes, these meatball subs are very convenient for busy individuals like me that still want the best for my family despite my schedule. Try this recipe now, and I promise you that it is worth all your time and effort. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
grated Parmesan cheese
1 c mozzarella or provolone cheese, divided
½ c marinara sauce, divided
4 hoagie rolls or hot dog buns if that is what you have
garlic powder, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes
16 store-bought frozen meatballs I like Costco’s Italian Beef Meatballs
extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
Refer to the directions provided on the package of the meatballs on how to cook them.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Place the hoagie buns onto a sheet pan, then drizzle olive oil on top.
Sprinkle garlic powder, dried basil, pepper, dried oregano, and salt on top of the buns.
Place the buns in the preheated oven and bake for 5 minutes or until just toasted.
Spread 1 tbsp of marinara sauce to the bottom of every hoagie roll and sprinkle a generous amount of Parmesan cheese on top.
Place 4 meatballs and marinara sauce over each hoagie. Sprinkle more cheese on top.
Put them back in the oven and bake the hoagie rolls for 3 to 5 more minutes or until the cheese has melted completely.
Remove from the oven and allow the Easy Meatball Subs to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
