This recipe will always have a very special place in my heart! This Egg Roll in a Bowl was my favorite food back in college. I would always go to this diner to eat this. Good times! Today, I tried to imitate that recipe and I am proud to say that I succeeded! Here you go! This recipe will only take you 15 minutes to prepare and cook! It is very convenient to bust individuals like me and you. All you need are sausage, ginger, garlic, coleslaw mix, soy sauce, green onions, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. That’s it! I have also listed all the easy steps so you just need to follow them, and you are good to go! This recipe yields 6 servings so everyone gets to taste it! Ingredients:
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ c green onions
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos
1 tablespoon ginger
1 lb. ground sausage
7 c coleslaw mix
Optional
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
Directions:
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add sausage and cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown.
Add ginger and garlic, then sauté for a minute or until aromatic.
Add soy sauce and Coleslaw mix, then stir until well blended.
Sprinkle green onions on top.
Drizzle more soy sauce.
Serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge.
This is already a complete meal so you don’t need something to go with it.
