Ingredients:
½ c salsa con queso
3 (8-inch) flour tortillas
1 lb. ground beef
1 ½-2 c shredded Mexican cheese blend
1 packet taco seasoning
Water as called for on the back of the seasoning packet (usually ¾ c water)
Directions:
Put a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown. Remove any excess fat.
Add water and taco seasoning, then stir until well blended.
Remove the skillet from the stove, then add ½ cup of salsa con queso. Stir everything until well combined.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in an 8-inch round baking pan.
Arrange a layer of flour tortilla into the prepared baking pan.
Add ⅓ of the beef taco over each tortilla.
Sprinkle ⅓ of shredded cheese over the beef taco layer. Repeat the process until everything is arranged in layers ending with cheese. Feel free to add more cheese.
Place the baking pan inside the preheated oven and bake the layered taco for 20 minutes or until the cheese turns golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow layered taco to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Slice into even pieces.
Serve and enjoy!
