Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
Water as called for on the back of seasoning packet
3 (8”) flour tortillas
½ c salsa con Queso
1 ½-2 c shredded Mexican cheese blend
Directions:
Step 1: Place pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 2: Add in the ground beef and cook until brown and crumbly.
Step 3: Discard any excess grease.
Step 4: Combine the taco seasoning with water. (Refer to the directions provided on the package.)
Step 5: Remove the pan taco meat from the heat and immediately add in ½ cup of salsa con queso. Stir until well mixed.
Step 6: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 7: Apply cooking spray in an 8-inch round baking pan.
Step 8: Arrange the flour tortilla on the bottom of the prepared pan.
Step 9: Spread ⅓ of the ground beef on top of the tortillas.
Step 10: Sprinkle about ⅓ of the shredded cheese over the ground beef.
Step 11: Repeat steps 9 and 10 until everything is arranged in layers.
Step 12: Place the baking pan inside the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted completely.
Step 13: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
Step 14: Serve and enjoy!
Note:
Feel free to serve this taco bake with sour cream and sliced tomatoes on top.
