Ingredients:
1¼ c lukewarm water about 105˚F
2½ tsp active dry yeast
1 tbsp sugar
¾ c plain yoghurt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp salt
½ tbsp dried basil
½ tbsp dried oregano
1 tsp garlic powder
3¾ c all-purpose flour
¼ c chopped fresh parsley
½ c olive oil for brushing
Directions:
Step 1: Put the yeast, water, and sugar in a large bowl. Whisk until well combined, then allow the yeast to rise for about 10 minutes.
Step 2: Add in the olive oil, yoghurt, oregano, basil, garlic powder, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 3: Add in parsley and flour. Stir until well combined.
Step 4: Sprinkle flour on a flat surface and knead the dough for 4 minutes on it. Sprinkle more flour if needed.
Step 5: Divide the dough into 12 even cuts and form them into balls.
Step 6: Sprinkle flour on top of each ball and cover them with a towel and let them sit for 15 minutes at room temperature.
Step 7: Place a frying pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-low.
Step 8: Roll out 1 dough ball and make it into a 7-inch circle.
Step 9: Brush olive oil over the rolled out dough.
Step 10: Place the oiled dough into the pan side down and cook for 1 minute or until bubbles form on the surface.
Step 11: Brush the other side of the flatbread with olive oil.
Step 12: Flip and cook the other side for another minute or until it becomes golden.
Step 13: Remove from the pan and place it on a clean plate.
Step 14: Repeat these steps to the rest of the ball dough.
Step 15: Serve and enjoy!
