I love this recipe so much! It saved me a lot of time. It is very hassle-free because all you need is a crockpot to do all the cooking for you! Yes, you just have to put all the ingredients in it, then seal and cook! In about 4 hours, dinner will be served! I like serving this Crockpot Taco Meat with tacos and my favorite toppings such as tomatoes, cheese, and other veggies! This is a must-try recipe that you will surely enjoy preparing! It can serve up to 6 people. If you are having more than 6, make sure to double the ingredients. Invite your friends over and surprise them with the most satisfying dinner today. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
4 tbsp Taco seasoning – I use homemade taco seasoning
1 c salsa
2 lbs. of ground beef
Directions:
In your crockpot, add ground beef and pour the salsa over.
Sprinkle taco seasoning over the salsa and stir everything until well blended.
Cover and seal the crock pot, then cook everything for about 6 to 8 hours on a low setting or 3 to 4 hours on a low setting or until ground beef is cooked through.
Open the crock pot and stir everything until well incorporated.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes:
Make sure to break the taco meat about 30 minutes before serving.
You can use frozen ground beef for this recipe if you prefer. You will have to adjust the cooking time a little bit.
I like to serve this with tacos.
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them in the fridge. Reheat in the microwave for a few minutes before serving again.
