My friends love these heavenly sweet treats! Whenever they come to visit me, they always remind to serve these Apple Dumplings! I decided to write down the recipe so I can just show it to them and they can just follow the steps. Genius, huh? Anyway, all the ingredients to this recipe are very cheap and available at your local grocery store. No special ingredient and no special trick. The only thing you need for this recipe is the heart of a pastry chef and dedication. Just kidding, you can pull this one off! The naturally sweet taste of the apples makes these dumplings superb! You can try using strawberry instead of apple. I have tried it before and it tasted equally amazing as the ones with apples in it. So, in conclusion, they both taste incredibly delicious in a dumpling! Share this recipe with your friends or invite them over for a get-together. They will love these bad boys for sure. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 pack 8 ounces crescent rolls
1 cup butter
1 ½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 ½ cup 7-up (or other lemon soda)
2 granny smith apples (2 apples makes 16 dumplings)
Directions:
Step 1: Use butter to grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.
Step 3: Peel the apples and remove the core. Slice into 8 pieces and roll them individually in a crescent roll and transfer in the prepared dish.
Step 4: In a skillet, melt the butter. Add in the sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir until thickened.
Step 5: Once done, pour the sauce over the dumplings.
Step 6: In the middle and along the edges of the pan, pour the soda.
Step 7: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
