I am so amazed by the result of this recipe. To tell you honestly, I had low expectations about this Easy Air Fryer Donuts. I am so surprised by how these heavenly treats made my day extra special! Ingredients:
Olive oil spray or coconut oil spray
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
½ c granulated sugar
1 (16.3-ounce) can flaky large biscuits, such as Pillsbury Grands! Flaky Biscuits
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Directions:
Line with parchment paper a large baking sheet.
In a small mixing bowl, add the cinnamon and sugar. Whisk until well blended.
Open the can of biscuits, then separate each.
Lay the biscuits onto the prepared baking sheet. Make sure to leave a small space between each biscuit.
Punch holes in the middle of each biscuit with a biscuit cutter.
Coat the Air Fryer with olive oil.
Lay 4 doughnuts into the prepared air fryer.
Seal the air fryer and turn the heat to about 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Cook the doughnuts for about 5 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Make sure to flip the doughnuts in the middle of cooking time to cook the other sides. Repeat this process to the rest of the doughnuts.
Place the warm doughnuts on a clean serving plate, then brush each with melted butter.
Drop the doughnuts into the bowl with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Toss until well coated.
Let them rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
