¾ c BBQ sauce (your favorite, we love our Sweet Baby Ray’s!)
2 cans of Dr. Pepper soda, divided
4.5 lbs. boneless country-style pork ribs
Directions:
Arrange the pork ribs in a single layer in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the can of soda on top of the ribs.
Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cook the ribs for about 7 hours on a low setting or 4 hours on a high setting.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Line a cookie sheet with aluminium foil. Put a wire rack over the foil.
In a mixing bowl, add ½ cup of Dr. Pepper soda and BBQ sauce. Stir until well incorporated.
Remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them onto the prepared cookie sheet. Leave a small space between each rib.
Brush each rib with the BBQ sauce mixture.
Place the sheet in the preheated oven and bake the ribs for about 15 minutes. Flip them over and bake the other sides for additional 15 minutes.
Remove the sheet from the oven and allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve the ribs warm with the rest of the sauce. Enjoy!
Note:
Serve these ribs as is or with rice.
