Easy, delicious, and simple! These three words best describe my experience with these Roasted Cabbage Steaks! You only need six basic ingredients for this recipe. Ready in less than an hour, this recipe is surely a must-try. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons paprika
2 small cabbage heads
½ teaspoon salt or to taste
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic powder
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C.
Remove the stems from the cabbage by cutting them off.
Slice each cabbage into two. Slice each half into two again.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the cabbage slices onto the prepared baking sheet and arrange them in a single layer. Make sure to leave a small space between each cabbage slice.
Brush each cabbage, slice with olive oil. Make sure to coat it well. Sprinkle a generous amount of salt, paprika, and garlic powder. Toss until well coated. Repeat these steps one more time.
Sprinkle a few red pepper flakes over each cabbage slice.
Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
It is important to generously season all sides of the cabbage.
Don’t forget to drizzle oil as well.
