4 boneless pork chops
Pork Chop Dredging Mixture:
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
½ tsp onion powder
¼ c all-purpose flour
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
Creamy Herb and Wine Sauce:
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 sprigs of fresh thyme (leaves only)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ c dry white wine
¼ lemon (juice of fresh lemon)
2 tbsp butter
½ c chicken stock
1 tbsp flour (or use leftover flour from pork chops dredging)
½ c heavy cream
Directions:
Add garlic powder, flour, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well blended.
Coat each pork chop with the flour mixture. Shake off any excess.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add 2 tbsp of butter and allow it to melt.
Add the pork chops, then cook each side for about 3 to 4 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
Transfer the pork chops onto a clean plate, then cover to keep them warm.
In the same skillet, add 2 tbsp of butter and allow it to melt.
Add the minced garlic, then saute for a minute or until aromatic.
Add flour, then whisk and cook for a minute to remove the raw taste.
Add wine, then stir until well mixed. Simmer for a minute.
Add heavy cream and chicken stock, then stir until well blended. Add a bit of lemon juice.
Season with salt, pepper, fresh thyme, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2 more minutes.
Turn the heat down to low, then add the pork chops. Toss until well coated by the delicious sauce. Simmer for another 3 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
