Incredibly delicious! This Amish Yumasetti Casserole is what I like to serve on weekends when everyone is around! Noodles, ground beef, soup, and a lot more! You will fall in love with this dish after one bite! Try it now. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
20 oz. cream of mushroom soup
2 c frozen peas
12 oz. egg noodles
1 onion, chopped
2 lbs. ground beef
20 oz. cream of chicken soup
1 c sour cream
2 c crumbled bread (or panko bread crumbs)
3 tbsp butter, melted
Directions:
Refer to the directions provided on the package of noodles on how to cook them. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
Apply cooking spray to a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the ground beef into the hot skillet, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown. Remove and discard any accumulated grease from the skillet.
Add the beef, sour cream, soups, and noodles into a large bowl. Toss everything until well incorporated.
Move the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Combine melted butter and breadcrumbs into a mixing bowl. Sprinkle the mixture on top of the ingredients in the baking dish and cover it with foil.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes.
Remove the foil cover, then bake for 20 more minutes or until the top turns golden brown. Remove from the oven.
Serve and enjoy!
Note:
You can use leftover buns for this recipe as breadcrumbs.
