These Crunchy Baked Pork Chops are perfectly cooked in the oven! This recipe requires very little amount of effort. In just 30 minutes, dinner will be served and it’s going to be awesome. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 ½ tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
½ tsp garlic powder
1 large Egg, lightly beaten
½ tsp onion powder
4 boneless pork chops, about 1-inch thick
1 tsp paprika
⅔ c Panko breadcrumbs
¼ tsp black pepper
Kosher salt and black pepper
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 218 degrees C or 425 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray to a baking sheet.
Sprinkle salt and pepper over the pork chops, then rub each until well coated.
Crack the egg into a mixing bowl, then beat it until creamy.
In another bowl, add breadcrumbs and the rest of the ingredients. Whisk until well blended.
Dip each pork chop into the egg wash, then into the breadcrumb mixture. Make sure to coat each well.
Lay the coated pork chops onto the prepared baking sheet. Coat the pork chops with a bit of cooking spray.
Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake the pork chops for about 18 to 25 minutes or until done.
Remove the pork chops from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes at room temperature to incorporate all the flavors. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes:
Remember that cooking time depends on the thickness of the pork chops. Make sure to check after 18 minutes.
Feel free to use regular breadcrumbs for this recipe, but I highly recommend you use Panko breadcrumbs.
You can also add cayenne pepper to the coating ingredients for a bit of spice!
