Ingredients:
Spicy Ground Beef
1 tbsp olive oil
half an onion, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound ground beef
2 tbsp taco seasoning (add about 1 tsp salt if it’s unsalted)
Pepperjack Cheese Sauce:
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp flour
1 c milk
8 oz shredded Pepperjack cheese
Crunchwrap Extra:
large flour “burrito” tortillas
Tostadas or Doritos
lettuce, tomato, cilantro
sour cream
salsa
Directions:
Place a large non-stick skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Add onion, garlic, and beef. Stir and cook until crumbly, brown, and aromatic.
Add the taco seasoning and salt to taste.
Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to low.
Add butter and allow it to melt.
Add flour and whisk until well blended.
Add the milk gradually and whisk continuously until the texture becomes smooth.
Remove the pan from the heat, then add the cheese. Stir until well blended.
Place a large tortilla onto a flat surface.
Stuff the tortilla with beef, melted queso, sour cream, hot sauce, salsa, lettuce, tomato, and cilantro. Fold to seal.
Place it into the hot skillet and cook until both sides turn golden brown and crunchy.
Remove from the skillet onto a clean plate.
Slice into even pieces.
Serve and enjoy!
