Ingredients:
¼ cup Gallo family wine, pinot grigio
¼ cup heavy cream
2 clove grated garlic
2 tablespoons flour
3 large chicken breast halves
2 cups Swanson 100% fat-free, low sodium chicken broth
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
Directions:
Remove any excess fat and skin from the chicken breasts. Cut them into quarters.
Add 2 cups of broth and wine into a Crockpot. Stir until well blended.
Put the chicken pieces over the broth mixture.
In a small bowl, add 2 tablespoons of flour and heavy cream. Stir until well blended.
Pour the mixture on top of the chicken pieces.
Grate the garlic, then put them over the chicken together with all the seasonings.
Cover the Crockpot, then cook the chicken for about 3 hours on a high setting or until done.
If you want to have a thick sauce, remove the chicken from the pot. Mix 1 tablespoon of flour and a bit of water and pour it into the pot. Stir until well blended. Simmer for a few minutes until thick. Put the chicken back into the pot.
Serve right away over rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
Note:
I do not recommend serving this over noodles. I didn’t like it!
