Ingredients:
½ c salted butter (1 stick)
6 pepperoncini peppers
1 packet ranch dressing mix
1 packet au jus gravy mix
3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Directions:
Add the chicken breasts into the slow cooker and arrange them in a single layer to the bottom.
Add the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the chicken breasts.
Add pepperoncini and a stick of butter over the chicken breasts.
Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cook for about 6 to 8 hours on a low setting.
Remove the chicken breasts from the slow cooker, then use two forks to shred them into small pieces.
Serve and enjoy!
Serve alone with sides or as a sandwich with sliced provolone cheese.
Notes:
Feel free to use chicken thighs for this recipe instead of chicken breasts.
You can serve this as is or over rice, mashed potatoes, or egg noodles.
