These heavenly treats have always been a part of my life since I was a kid! Luckily, my mom taught me the recipe. Now, I get to cook for my kids as well. Feel free to add more ingredients if you think it lacks something. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 cans of cinnamon rolls of any kind will do – around 12 oz.
4 Eggs
½ c of milk
3 tablespoons maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
Step 1: Use a can opener to open the cans of the cinnamon rolls, then set them aside.
Step 2: Slice each of the cinnamon rolls into four.
Step 3: Apply nonstick cooking spray on a crockpot.
Step 4: Arrange half of the cinnamon rolls on the bottom of the prepared crockpot.
Step 5: In a small mixing bowl, add the milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and syrup. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 6: Spread the milk mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
Step 7: Arrange the other half of the cinnamon rolls over the milk mixture.
Step 8: Spread one pack of the icing on top of the cinnamon rolls.
Step 9: Cover the crockpot and cook for 2 to 2 hours and 30 minutes on low heat.
Step 10: Remove the cover and add the other pack of the icing on top of the rolls.
Step 11: Serve hot and enjoy!
Note:
These cinnamon rolls are best served with milk!
