If you are on a Keto diet, then you have got to try this recipe! My friend introduced this to me last week and I am so glad that I decided to give it a try because I never would have tasted how awesome these Brussels Sprouts taste like fried. Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! What I love the most about this recipe is the crispy texture of the sprouts. They taste extremely well cooked this way. By the way, feel free to add more ingredients if you feel like it. I have always wanted to add chilli powder to it just to give it a nice kick. Ingredients:
2 c Brussels sprouts
2 tbsp coconut oil
¼ c parmesan cheese grated
¼ c almonds sliced and crushed
2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
Sea salt to taste
Directions:
Step 1: In a medium saucepan, add 2 cups of water and the Brussels sprouts.
Step 2: Place the saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Cook the sprouts for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 3: Drain the Brussels Sprouts and place them in a bowl to cool.
Step 4: Divide each sprout into two, and then place them in a large mixing bowl.
Step 5: Add Parmesan cheese, crushed almonds, bagel seasoning, oil, and salt. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are coated with the seasonings.
Step 6: Place the Brussels sprouts into an air fryer and cook at 375 degrees F for about 12 to 15 minutes or until both sides of the sprouts are golden.
Step 7: Serve warm and enjoy!
