Everybody wants a nice tasting pasta dish! If you are in search of a pasta recipe that has no meat in it, then, this will suit you perfectly! Don’t get me wrong. You can still add bacon and ham in this dish. I have tried it many times it is divine! This recipe is just a simple way of cooking your pasta. All you need for this recipe are basic ingredients that I know you already have! My only advice to you is to be very generous with the amount of cheese that you are going to add. Just do it and thank me later! By the way, if you have a different kind of pasta, refer to the instructions provided on the package on how long you should cook it. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 teaspoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoon butter
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
3 c chicken stock
½ pound spaghetti or angel hair pasta
1 c grated Parmesan cheese
¾ c heavy cream
2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Directions:
Step 1: Place a pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium-low.
Step 2: Add in olive oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 3: Add in the garlic and saute for about 1 to 2 minutes or until aromatic.
Step 4: Add in the butter and allow it to melt.
Step 5: Add in the chicken stock and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6: Turn the heat up to high and allow it to boil.
Step 7: Add in the pasta and cook for 8 minutes or until al dente.
Step 8: Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted completely.
Step 9: Remove from the heat and add in the cream and parsley. Stir until well combined.
Step 10: Serve hot and enjoy!
