These Cream Puffs are so good that this was my third time making them this week! Yes, that’s how delicious these heavenly treats are! I am 100 per cent sure that your loved ones are going to devour these things! Try this recipe, and prepare to be amazed. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Ingredients for Choux Pastry:
8 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 Eggs (large), room temperature
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
½ c whole milk
½ c water
1 c all-purpose flour measured correctly
¼ teaspoon salt
Ingredients for Cream Filling and Garnish:
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons granulated sugar
28 raspberries optional
1 tablespoon powdered sugar to garnish
2 c heavy whipping cream chilled
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 220 degrees C or 425 degrees F.
Line with parchment paper onto a baking sheet.
Place a medium saucepan on the stove. Add butter, milk, sugar, water, and salt. Stir until well blended.
Turn the heat to medium and allow the mixture to boil.
Add 1 cup of flour, then stir until well blended.
Stir for about 2 minutes or until the mixture forms into a smooth ball.
Transfer the dough into a large bowl, then beat for about a minute.
Add eggs gradually and beat every addition until well blended.
Transfer the mixture into a piping bag.
Pipe 28 puffs out of the dough mixture. Arrange them onto the prepared baking sheet. Make sure to leave a small space between each dough.
Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until done.
Turn the heat down to 325 degrees F and bake for another 20 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely at room temperature.
To Make Whipped Cream:
Add vanilla extract, sugar, and heavy cream into a large bowl. Beat for about 2 minutes or until it forms stiff peaks.
Move the mixture into a piping bag.
Fill each cooled cream puff with the mixture.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
Serve and enjoy!
