Ingredients:
Banana Bread:
½ c unsalted butter, melted
2 ripe bananas
¼ c sour cream
½ c light brown sugar
1 Egg
¼ c white sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp salt
1 c all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
Cream Cheese Filling:
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 (4 ounces) package cream cheese, softened
¼ c white sugar
1 Egg
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, add egg, butter, sour cream, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and ¼ cup of white sugar. Whisk until well mixed.
Add the bananas, then mash until well combined.
Add baking soda, baking powder, 1 cup flour, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
In another mixing bowl, add egg, cream cheese, 3 tbsp of flour, and ¼ cup of white sugar. Whisk until well mixed.
Add ½ of the banana mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Add cream cheese mixture over and spread it evenly.
Add the rest of the banana mixture over the cream cheese layer and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 50 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
