These heavenly treats are not just delicious but very easy to make as well! In just about 45 minutes, you will enjoy these Cream Cheese Squares! My good friend recommended this recipe to me. I had low expectations at first but I was wrong! They are so good that this was probably the 8th time that I baked these delicious treats! Ingredients:
2 (8 ounces) packages of cream cheese
¼ c white sugar
½ c margarine, melted
1 c white sugar
2 (8 ounces) cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Add one can of crescent rolls to the bottom of the greased baking pan and spread it evenly.
Add cream cheese, vanilla, and 1 cup sugar into a mixing bowl. Beat until well blended.
Pour the mixture on top of the crescent roll and spread it evenly.
Put the 2nd can of crescent roll over the cream cheese layer and unroll it.
In a mixing bowl, add cinnamon and ¼ cup of sugar. Stir until well mixed, then sprinkle on top of the crescent roll.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow it to rest at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
