Ingredients:
1 c milk
2 tablespoons sugar
8 slices Texas Toast (or Sourdough bread)
4 Eggs
2 pinches of salt
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions:
In a large bowl, add salt, sugar, vanilla, milk, and eggs. Whisk until well blended.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add butter and allow it to melt.
Add each bread into the bowl with the egg mixture, then dip each for about 30 seconds on each side until soaked.
Place the coated bread slices into the hot skillet, then cook all sides for about 5 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
Remove from the skillet and transfer them onto a clean serving plate.
Serve right away with butter on top and syrup. Enjoy!
