This will be the best breakfast casserole you will ever serve! With only 6 basic ingredients, this Cracked-Out Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole is surely a must-try! You won’t be needing anything else once you get a bite of this amazing casserole. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
8 large Eggs
2 c milk
2 c shredded cheddar cheese
2 pounds bacon
1 (30 to 32 ounces) bag frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
1 (1 ounce) packet of dry Ranch dressing mix
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray to a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the bacon, then cook for a few minutes until crispy.
Transfer the crispy bacon onto a clean plate, then chop them roughly. Leave the accumulated bacon grease in the skillet.
In the same skillet, add the hash browns. Cook for a few minutes until they turn brown.
Transfer the hash browns into the prepared baking dish and arrange them in a single layer.
Scatter the chopped crispy bacon over the hash browns.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the hash browns.
In a mixing bowl, add milk, eggs, and ranch dressing mix. Whisk until well blended.
Pour the egg mixture over the hash browns and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour or 1 hour 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let the casserole rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to use turkey bacon for this recipe.
You can also use 2 cups of pre-cooked bacon.
You can prepare this casserole the night before. Just place it inside the fridge until ready to bake.
