I like all pasta dishes, but this one is my all-time favourite! Nothing will ever compare to what I feel about this Crab Alfredo! Okay, maybe a little exaggerated, but part of it is true! Well, you just have to try and taste it yourself. Have a blessed day, friends, and I hope you are all well today. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
12 ounces fettuccine or linguine
3 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan, plus more for garnish
1 tablespoon Old Bay, plus more for sprinkling
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley, plus more for garnish
1 lb. lump crab meat
Juice of ½ lemon
Directions:
Place a large pot with salted water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Bring the water to a boil.
Add the linguine and cook until firm to bite or al dente. Drain and put it back into the pot.
Put a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the butter and allow it to melt.
Add garlic and sauté for about a minute or until aromatic.
Add flour, then whisk and cook until well golden brown.
Add the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir until well blended and let it simmer for about 3 minutes or until the texture becomes thick.
Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until well mixed. Cook for about 2 minutes.
Add the Old Bay, crab meat, parsley, salt, and pepper, then stir until well combined.
Add the cooked linguine and toss until well coated with the delicious sauce.
Remove from the heat and sprinkle parsley, Old Bay, and Parmesan cheese.
Squeeze lemon juice on top.
Serve hot and enjoy!
