These muffins taste the same as the ones in Starbucks! I kid you not! You need to try this recipe if you are a huge fan of Starbucks’ heavenly muffins. These muffins are very easy to make. Just follow all these steps and you are in for a treat. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Muffin:
1 ½ cups flour
¾ cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 ½ cups pumpkin puree
¼ cup butter, melted/cooled
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
Cream Cheese Filling:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp milk
Directions:
Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray or line a muffin tray.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add the sugar, flour, baking soda, baking powder, pumpkin spice, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
Step 4: In a separate bowl, add the melted butter, vanilla extract, egg, and pumpkin. Stir until well mixed.
Step 5: Transfer the wet mixture over the dry ones. Stir until well blended.
Step 6: Fill the prepared muffin tray about ¾ of the batter.
To Make The Cream Cheese Filling:
Step 1: In a small mixing bowl, add the vanilla extract, flour, cream cheese, milk, and sugar. Stir until well mixed.
Step 2: Transfer the mixture into a piping bag. Cut the tip and drop a dollop of the mixture on top of the batter. If the filling slightly sinks, that’s okay.
Step 3: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until set.
Step 4: Remove from the oven and let the muffins sit at room temperature to cool completely.
Step 5: Bon Appetit!
