Two layers of chocolate and a layer of coconut! I know that you have a definite idea of how awesome these brownies are going to taste. The recipe is easy to follow so you won’t have any problem in making these delicious little slices of heaven. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups white sugar
4 large eggs
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ teaspoon cream of tartar
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup chopped walnuts
4 cups unsweetened flaked coconut
1 (14 ounces) can sweeten condensed milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add the sugar and butter. Beat until well mixed.
Step 4: Add in eggs gradually and beat every addition. Add 1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla and stir.
Step 5: In a small bowl, add the cream of tartar, cocoa, and flour. Whisk until well mixed. Transfer the mixture into the egg mixture and stir until well combined.
Step 6: Add in the walnuts and stir. Transfer ½ of the mixture into the greased pan. Spread evenly on the bottom.
Step 7: In a medium mixing bowl, add the coconut, 1 tablespoon of vanilla, and sweetened condensed milk. Stir until well mixed to make the middle layer.
Step 8: Spread the mixture on top of the chocolate mixture. Spread the rest of the chocolate batter on top of the coconut mixture layer.
Step 9: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until the top turns dark brown.
Step 10: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.
Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
