As a kid, I’ve always been a fan of salads. This Classic Italian Pasta Salad recipe was given to me by my grandma. Now, allow me to share it with you! Just follow these simple steps, and you are good to go! You can do a lot to make this recipe even better. Make sure to read the notes below for ideas! Have a wonderful day, friends, and I hope you are all well today! Don’t forget to share this with your loved ones as well. I am sure that they are going to love it as much as we do. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
4 ounces pepperoni cut in half
½ lb. mozzarella cheese cubed
1 green bell pepper diced
16 ounces rotini pasta (We love the multi-coloured)
6 ounces shredded Parmesan cheese
1 can black olives 6 ounces, drained
2 c cherry tomatoes halved
8 ounces Italian Dressing
Directions:
Place a large pot with water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
Add the pasta and cook for a few minutes until firm to bite or al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
Add tomatoes, pasta, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, black olives, and green pepper into a large mixing bowl. Toss everything until well mixed.
Add Parmesan cheese and Italian dressing on top of the mixture, then toss until well combined.
Place it inside the fridge to chill for about an hour. Do not skip this step.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes:
I like adding thinly sliced onions to this recipe. They give such delicious flavour to the salad.
Sprinkle your preferred herbs on top to garnish.
