Ingredients:
4 eggs
¾ c sugar, divided
8 oz. cream cheese
1 refrigerated pie crust
1 c dark chocolate chips
1 ½ c pecan halves
3 tbsp whipping cream
1 c light corn syrup
3 tbsp melted butter
2 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.
Add the crust into a deep-dish pie plate.
Add the egg, cream cheese, ½ cup sugar, salt, and 1 tsp vanilla into a mixing bowl. Beat until well blended.
Add the whipping cream and dark chocolate chips into a heat-proof bowl. Place it inside the microwave and heat until the chips are melted completely.
Remove from the microwave and stir until well blended.
Add 3 eggs, melted butter, 1 tsp vanilla, corn syrup, and ¼ cup sugar into a mixing bowl. Beat until well blended.
Add the pecans and stir until just mixed.
Transfer the chocolate mixture into the prepared pie crust and spread it evenly
Add the cream cheese mixture on top of the chocolate mixture, then spread it evenly.
Add the pecan mixture over the cream cheese layer and spread it evenly as well.
Place the pie plate inside the preheated oven and bake the pie for 55 minutes or until done
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
