All I can say about these amazing treats is that they are a must-try! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
¾ c Ground Pecans
5ounces Dark Chocolate (Couverture chocolate has to be tempered for dipping and decorating. Compound chocolate, like candy coating or almond bark, can be used immediately after melted).
Chopped Pecans for decoration
Directions:
Step 1: In a food processor, add the pecans and pulse until ground.
Step 2: Place the flour and condensed milk in a saucepan. Stir until well mixed.
Step 3: Add in the ground pecans and stir until just combined.
Step 4: Place the saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 5: Stir and cook the mixture for about 5 minutes or until the texture becomes thick.
Step 6: Transfer the mixture to a clean plate and spread it. Place the plate at room temperature to cool.
Step 7: Cover the plate with plastic wrap and place it inside the fridge to chill for about 20 minutes.
Step 8: Form small balls out of the mixture with your palms. They should be about 1 ¼-inches ball.
Step 9: Place the balls inside the fridge to chill for about 20 minutes.
Step 10: Place the chocolate inside the microwave and heat until melted.
Step 11: Remove from the microwave and stir until smooth.
Step 12: Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and sprinkle pecans all over each ball.
Step 13: Place the balls back in the fridge to chill for 10 more minutes.
Step 14: Serve and enjoy!
Note:
Put the balls in an airtight container and they can last for up to 10 days at room temperature.
